Volunteer Drivers

We welcome help from volunteer drivers. You should have held a full, clean driving licence for at least 2 years. You will be fully trained under the MiDAS scheme, which includes the securing of wheelchairs into the vehicles. The work we do is very varied, and the people who use our services appreciate the freedom and independence that it gives them.

We are currently looking for drivers; please follow this link for more information>>

Volunteer Passenger Assistants

We are always looking for volunteer passenger assistants. As with our drivers, full training will be given. Applicants should be physically fit, and their duties include assisting passengers on and off the buses, ensuring seat belts are worn, collecting fares and assisting the driver with finding locations.

Volunteer Management Committee Members

Management Committee meetings are held every other month during the daytime (normally a Friday afternoon). We welcome people who wish to take an active interest in services for the elderly and mobility impaired and become involved in helping to shape the future of this extremely worthwhile service.

To express an interest in any of the above, please contact the office.
