Nailsea and District Community Transport Limited was formed in 1994 as an Industrial and Provident Society and is now a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 with charitable status.

We are a not-for-profit organisation; all funds are used to provide a subsidised, fully accessible minibus service for passengers of any age who have impairments or are disabled, which makes travel by public transport difficult or impossible.  Community Transport Association.

We operate in the northeast half of North Somerset, covering Clevedon, Nailsea, Portishead, Long Ashton, Gordano, Felton, Yatton and all of the intervening villages and rural areas.

The town councils are represented on N&DCT’s Management Committee, and we maintain close contact with our local authority funders (North Somerset Council, Nailsea, Portishead and Clevedon Town Councils and Backwell and Long Ashton Parish Councils) to ensure that we understand and support their strategic aims and objectives.

We run a fleet of eight fully accessible minibuses. Each minibus has a built-in tail lift, can transport a wheelchair-using passenger and has space to store folding walkers and shopping trolleys. We provide regular shopping trips for all areas, day trips, a dial-a-ride service and a hire service.

To use our services, you will need to become a member of Nailsea and District Community Transport. See the ‘How to Join‘ page.
