22 February – Updated COVID Guidelines
Given the Government’s announcement yesterday of the way ahead and their publication of ‘Living with Covid’ document, N&DCT is moving forward in a phased way. We remain cautious due to the current high infection rates in the area and the fact that most of our members fall in the at-risk category.
From Thursday 24th February:
- Drivers will continue to undertake twice-weekly lateral flow tests plus a test on the day of a drive. They will continue to wear masks in the vehicle.
- Passengers should continue to wear masks on the buses.
From 1st April:
- Drivers will continue to wear a mask.
- Passengers will be invited to wear a mask.
We will keep these requirements under review as and when the Government and Community Transport Association publish further guidance.
24 January – New Addition to the Fleet
N&DCT has added a wheelchair accessible car to its fleet to undertake dial-a-ride bookings. It can carry up to 4 passengers or 1 wheelchair and a carer.
